Why on-site training?
Training at your facility, whether sea- or land-based, is the smart alternative or addition to your companies’ permanently placed trainers. We can fill in the gaps whenever your permanent trainers are not properly qualified to train others or are too busy with other tasks to make sure that your crews are up-to-date with your mandatory training matrix. Not only will we save you money on airfare, hotels and miscellaneous expenses, but your crews get to relax during there off-time rather than hopping around from course to course. We will arrange our training schedules to fit your requirements, no matter the time or day.
Overseas Contract Consultants’ trainers have extensive experience in preparing and conducting safety and medical training programs and workshops. During the past 10 years, more than 1,400 representatives from the oil, gas, petrochemical and heavy construction industries, as well as foreign governments, have participated in courses conducted by our staff.

Although much of the information contained in our workshops is technical in nature, the emphasis of each course is on practical applications. Our instructors have the experience necessary to present a balanced approach to safety: not too heavy on theory, but with enough technical information to explain how and why the concepts work. Audio/visual aids are used extensively to illustrate actual real-world problems and solutions. Course participants receive accurate, up-to-date, practical information that can be applied directly to your facilities and operations.
All our trainers have the appropriate subject matter expertise and training delivery skills:
- Our trainers have the highest level of technical knowledge, skills, and abilities in the subjects they teach.
- Our trainers are competent in delivery techniques and methods appropriate to adult learning.
- Our trainers maintain their training skills by participating in continuing education, development programs, and/or experience related to their subject matter, as well as regular delivery.
- Our trainers apply adult learning principles appropriate to the target audience and the learning objectives.

Can you train our foreign nationals in their own language?
Yes, we can!
We have extensive experience in working and sharing our knowledge with multinational crew members, which is one of our areas of expertise. We have taught safety and medical courses in Farsi, Hindi, Hungarian, Spanish, Thai, Portuguese, and Russian, to name a few. We recruit and select the highest-qualified local nationals with ESL (English as a Second Language) as their strength and team them up with our experienced instructors so that the material is properly passed on and understood by all participants. No matter what part of the world you are in—near or far, urban or remote—we will be there.
Students will receive a pocket card and certificate upon successful completion of each course.
